Hello
I'm Jordan Sigel, a senior majoring in media studies with a minor in journalism from Toronto, Canada. Sports have been a big part of my life since childhood, with my dad putting me in skates at the age of two, a true reflection of my Canadian roots. It wasn’t just hockey; I also grew up playing and watching baseball, football, and basketball, constantly absorbing the strategies and excitement behind every game.
My Story
As I navigated the world of social media, my passion for sports media blossomed. This blend of interests has fueled my pursuit of a career in sports media, where I've been working to combine my love for both social media and sports. Over the past two years, I’ve gained hands-on experience at a social media agency, honing skills in content creation, analytics, and community engagement. My internships, including my recent role at Power Digital Marketing, have allowed me to understand how digital platforms shape the sports industry and influence fan culture.
Moving forward, I’m excited to bring these insights to my blog, where I’ll explore the intersection of sports, media, and technology. Whether it’s analyzing trends in sports broadcasting or discussing how social media is changing the fan experience, I’m eager to share my thoughts and connect with others who are passionate about the evolving sports landscape.
